## 🔄 Upgrade from v2.0
|
|
|
|
v2.1.0 is **fully backward compatible** with v2.0. Existing backups and configurations work without changes.
|
|
|
|
**New in v2.1:**

- Cloud storage configuration in TUI
|
|
- Auto-upload functionality
|
|
- Cross-platform Windows/NetBSD support
|
|
|
|
**Migration steps:**
|
|
1. Update binary: Download latest from `bin/` directory
|
|
2. (Optional) Enable cloud: `./dbbackup interactive` → Settings → Cloud Storage
|
|
3. (Optional) Configure provider, bucket, credentials
|
|
4. Existing local backups remain unchanged
|
|
|
|
